Barnbougle Dunes is located an hour from Launceston and opened in 2004. A rare genuine links course, it has already been ranked as the No. 1 Public Access Golf Course in Australia by the Golf Course Guide and among Australia's Top 5 golf courses by Golf Australia magazine.

The course winds through towering dunes and along the beach, true links golf by the sea. Designers Tom Doak and Michael Clayton used the natural undulations and ocean views to produce 18 wonderful holes to challenge and entertain the golfer.
