No need for a reply on this, although I always enjoy hearing from you, but I wanted to let you know how much I like the White Lightning putter from Center Champ golf. It has felt perfect from the outset, and my putting has improved tremendously, particularly on lag putting from 30' or more. It is a little heavier head than average, at 345 grams, which I normally have not done very well with, but the balancing is so solid that I haven't noticed it. I had it built at 34" and a standard lie, 71* for me, although I am gripping down by about 2". The one thing this putter has that the other center-shafted putters didn't is 2* of loft. Since the others were target-balanced and had no loft, and the White Lightning is face-balanced, perhaps this putter needed a little loft to get the ball rolling - and for me the results were immediately noticeable.
At $79 total for shipping, this putter is a great bargain.
Two final things that I wanted to mention. The new putter has an insert, and I have not liked them in the past, but this one felt good from the start. The second thing is I have been using several of your homemade putting aids to groove alignment and I believe the work is starting to pay off. My path and center contact feel much better, and a center-shafted putter has helped. I think with a little more outside practice, my putting is ready to make a quantum leap in improvement. In addition, being aware of my core putt length has helped my touch.
One other thing, should have said three, but once I got the new putter, I changed how I approached putting. I have incorporated the belief that I must do everything I can to to get the ball in the hole, and be convinced that I can make the shot prior to pulling the trigger. I can't say I have always done or felt that in the past. Thank you for your help,
